Producers of the up coming movie, ‘93 Days’ have revealed that veteran actor, Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey will be making a big return to the silver screen by playing the role of Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian lawyer who is reputed to have brought the deadly Ebola virus into Nigeria.
Keppy, who has been an active player in Nollywood for over two decades said being called up for the role was a challenge and he is glad to be a part of history.
Keppy will be joining a top cast of Nollywood actors, which include Bimbo Akintola who plays Nigerian hero, Dr. Stella Adadevoh as well as Gideon Okeke, Somkhele Idhalama, Bimbo Manuel.
Bimbo Akintola described playing the late Stella Adadevoh in ‘93 Days’ as her most challenging role as an actress.
Some Hollywood stars including Danny Glover, Tim Reid and Alastair Mackenzie are also part of the cast.
‘93 days’ is a true life inspired by the Ebola Virus Disease which invaded Nigeria and some other West African countries.
Director by award winning filmmaker, Steve Gukas, says ‘93 days’ is intended to be a world class movie that will make Nigerians proud.
